The Energy Bus

       Each year the teachers and Dr. Wasserman choose a book we want all of the students in the school to hear.  Last year we read and focused on The 7 Habits of Happy Kids.  This year each class is reading The Energy Bus by: Jon Gordon.  The book teaches kids rules that they can apply to their lives, which will hopefully help them on their ways to becoming happy, positive, productive individuals.   The book focuses on a little boy named George who is having a hard time and his bus driver named Joy who is helping him through those tough times.
   
       Today we started reading the book in class.  The 1st rule that Joy taught George was to create a positive vision. If we can picture what we would like to have happen we have a better chance of that thing actually happening the way we would like.  Then we each created a license plate where we surrounded our names with the things that make us happy and give us positive energy.
