Rural Stories

I'm sorry that the blog has been quiet the last few days!!!!!

One of our writing goals is to be able to write a narrative story. One go my personal goals for the year was to intertwine our writing standards with 2nd grades science and social studies curriculum.  To end our communities unit we are using what we have learned about rural communities to help us write a narrative story.  The class is pretending that they are a 2nd grader that lives in a rural community and our story is going to be a day in the life of that student.  So far we have planned out how we would like our story to go and started writing the beginnings of our stories.
